The influence of Gabriel Fauré’s teaching and style can be found in the works of his students, Maurice Ravel and Georges Enesco. These three sonatas by Fauré, Ravel, and Enesco share certain common influences and demonstrate the breadth of possibilities offered by the same pedagogical framework.
